HR Coordinator
Job Summary:
The HR Coordinator is responsible for gathering documentation for each new hire and ensuring employment records are completed accurately, forwarded to appropriate team members, and a streamlined onboarding process is maintained. Other duties may consist of recruitment of new personnel, policy implementation, and customer service to all employees and hiring managers through all hiring procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the onboarding process.
- Assists with the hiring process and recruiting process as needed.
- Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the onboarding process, identifying start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Attends and participates in college job fairs, career events and recruiting sessions as requested.
- Complete hiring process through Docuware/ATS
- Requests required documentation from new hires to properly onboard.
- Maintain new hire sheets and ATS/onboarding systems.
- Maintain 24/48/72 hiring strategies to ensure timely recruitment and incorporate this method in the onboarding procedures.
- Informs new hires of each step through the hiring process, including onboarding and orientation notification.
- Promote and maintain positive employee relations in a safe and productive work environment.
- Answer questions regarding pre-employment testing, eligibility, salaries, benefits, and other pertinent information.
- Work with safety department to ensure pre-employment drug screens are deployed accurately.
- Conduct orientation survey follow-up.
- Maintain confidentiality and secure confidential records
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Vision must allow for working on a computer screen for extended lengths of time.
- Must be able to work in an open-air team environment.
- Must be able to Drive or ride in vehicle for up to 3 hours.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
