Information Technology Manager

 

Job Summary:

The IT Manager will oversee the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensure the seamless operation of systems, and lead a team of IT and application support professionals. This role will focus on maintaining the reliability, security, and efficiency of IT operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to align IT initiatives with the company’s goals.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Manage the IT and Application Support teams

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the IT and application support teams.
  • Develop and execute the IT strategy in alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance technology infrastructure and processes.
  • Manage IT budgets, including hardware, software, and services procurement.
  • Oversee the maintenance and optimization of IT systems, including servers, networks, cloud platforms, and software.
  • Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of all IT systems and applications.
  • Implement and manage cybersecurity measures to protect organizational data and systems.
  • Collaborate with the development team to support SaaS product delivery and scalability.
  • Provide hands-on support for critical IT issues and escalations.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to identify IT needs and opportunities for innovation.
  • Partner with departments to provide technology solutions that enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, data protection regulations, and best practices.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of IT systems, processes, and policies.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.

 

Required Education / Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT management or a senior IT role.
  • Experience with SaaS products, cloud platforms, and IT infrastructure management.
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure, server management, and cybersecurity.
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
  • Knowledge of database systems, enterprise software, and IT support frameworks.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
