Product Manager
Job Summary:
The Product Manager for Opsource will lead the strategy and development of an internal operations platform used across multiple departments. This role’s purpose is to optimize internal workflows, streamline integrations with other systems, and build intuitive dashboards for various company teams. Unlike a customer-facing product, Opsource is an internal application, so the focus is on enhancing efficiency, compliance, and user satisfaction within the organization. You will collaborate closely with departments like finance, asset management, and security to ensure Opsource meets their needs and improves overall operational effectiveness.

Required Education / Experience & Qualifications:
- Product Management Experience: Proven experience in product management for internal enterprise applications or workflow automation tools, preferably in a complex organizational environment.
- Integration Knowledge: Strong understanding of integration strategies with external systems (e.g., how to connect with CRMs, GIS, ticketing systems, etc.) and ability to design solutions that bridge multiple platforms.
- Domain Familiarity: Familiarity with GIS mapping technologies, ticketing systems, financial invoicing processes, and security role/access management in an enterprise context.
- Technical Proficiency: Good knowledge of APIs and data interchange formats, experience with real-time data processing, and comfort with data visualization or BI tools for reporting.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms and vice versa. You should be adept at gathering input from diverse teams and managing expectations.
Preferred Education / Experience & Qualifications:
- Enterprise IT/Operations Background: Background in enterprise IT, operations management, or developing internal tools, giving you insight into the challenges and needs of internal users.
- AI-Driven Workflows: Prior experience with AI-driven workflow solutions or automation tools is a plus, as it can help in innovating and enhancing Opsource’s capabilities for smarter process automation.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Product Roadmap Ownership: Own and drive the product roadmap for Opsource, defining features and enhancements that align with company goals.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., finance, asset management, security teams) to understand their requirements and prioritize features that add the most value.
- Systems Integration: Oversee integrations with external systems such as CRM, GIS, ticketing platforms, contract management systems, and file storage solutions to ensure seamless data flow and process automation.
- Core Functionality Development: Manage the development of core platform functionalities, including a user-friendly interface, workflow automation capabilities, real-time GIS mapping components, invoicing modules, security role management, and robust reporting dashboards.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure the platform meets SOC 2 compliance standards and other security requirements by working with security teams and implementing best practices for data protection and privacy.
- Technical Coordination: Coordinate with engineering teams on developing required APIs, data structures, and device connectivity solutions, enabling Opsource to exchange data with other tools and IoT devices in real time.
- User Adoption & Improvement: Monitor usage metrics and feedback to gauge user adoption and satisfaction within internal teams. Drive continuous improvements and training initiatives to maximize the platform’s effectiveness for employees.
