Sanitation Technician
Job Summary:
The Janitorial staff is responsible for the sanitation and cleanliness of our office buildings. This person will take great pride in presenting a clean and sanitary office facility. This person will have a schedule for each office facility and will be responsible for weekly cleaning of offices, restrooms and breakrooms at each shop.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Clean the interior of buildings including floors, carpet, rugs, windows and walls
- Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones
- Maintain cleaning inventory, placing orders for new products when needed
- Empty trash and recycling bins
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Vacuum, sweep and mop floors
- Clean and maintain restrooms and breakrooms
- Washing and clean windows and mirrors
- Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions
- Operate floor scrubbers and other equipment
- Dust furniture and fixtures

- Must be willing to travel to other office locations
Education and Experience:
- Must have a clear driving record and hold a class E license
- Two years of cleaning experience preferred
- Must be self-motivated
Physical Requirements:
- Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas.
- Must be able to drive a vehicle for up to eight hours to travel to and from different offices.
- Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of offices; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.
- Must be able to remain standing or walking for most of the shift
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
