Travel Coordinator

 

Job Summary:

The Travel Coordinator will provide administrative support to all departments, as well as be responsible for planning, scheduling, and maintaining travel details for employees for all departments.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Answer phones and submit messages to various staff
  • Maintain polite and Professional communication via phone, e-mail and mail
  • Organizing and managing travel arrangements for clients, vendors, and employees, such as air travel, hotel accommodations, dining reservations, and ground transportation
  • Coordinating with service providers to ensure that all travel needs are met
  • Tracking and maintaining company travel issues, policy compliance, and expenditures, and generating reports on travel spending
  • Escalating any traveler requests or concerns to the appropriate supervisor or manager
  • Organizing group activities during travel, such as dining at local restaurants.
  • Operating office equipment including printers, copiers, fax machines and multimedia instruments
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll software.
  • Exemplary communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work.

 

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two years of experience in administrative office work preferred.

 

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
